The Upper Marlboro/Waldorf Silhouettes

The Kappa Silhouettes was officially established in 1947 as an auxiliary group to the men of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. On September 11, 1987, Policy Statement No. 87-12 was entered into the records of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., recognizing the Silhouettes as an affiliate whose purpose is to provide support and assistance for the activities of the Fraternity at Grand Chapter, Province, and Local levels.

In keeping with this legacy, the Upper Marlboro/Waldorf Silhouettes was established and officially charted in August 2017 to assist in meeting the same critical needs of the Upper Marlboro/Waldorf (MD) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., the Eastern Province, and International Headquarters and their efforts to provide community service to well deserved civic and political projects.

The Silhouettes is part of a national network of chapters which is supported by provincial and national leadership and its membership is comprised of wives and widows of the men of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

The Upper Marlboro/Waldorf Silhouettes are excited to be part of the positive and impactful initiatives supporting the communities of Prince Georges and Charles County, Maryland. If interested in becoming a member please contact Mrs. Jacqueline Wilcher via the "Contact Us" link.
